Top Tunes Tuesday #3

Whew! What a week! We were apart for the majority of last week and then reunited on the East Coast for Rach’s sister’s wedding. We have been out of our routine, but still working hard! We have a big week and weekend coming up. Court is shooting with Michael Nevoux on Saturday so she is working on getting back on track and keeping her head in the game as she preps for her photoshoot! Rach is starting a new 8-week yoga training program with Core Power Yoga – the studio where she began her yoga journey – tonight at 7:45! Needless to say, we’ve got a lot going on…. and as always we’ve needed lots of music to inspire and motivate us!

This week, Court’s playlist has been motivating her and helping her push herself through double sessions. She has been waking up for fasted cardio in the morning and lifting in the evening. Rach’s playlist are some of her favorite songs on her playlist that she created for her yoga classes. Top Tunes Tuesday #2

So, we are so loving sharing our playlists with you and have so been loving the songs you’ve all been sending us! Work has been really intense for both of us lately, and to make things more intense, we’ve been traveling and have been away from each other. We’ve only spent 36 hours together in the past two weeks! But that ends on Thursday when Court flies out to NH for Rach’s  big sister’s wedding!!

Needless to say, we’ve been needing our music more than ever lately. Especially to get us pumped up for our workouts since we are usually together and get each other amped up. Here are our top five songs of the week!

Side note: Two of the artists on Rach’s playlist (Clmd and EVVY) reached out on Instagram to thank us for the love. Rach may have fan-girled a bit. We can’t explain how much we LOVE supporting other people who are working to make an impact in this world – whether it be in health and wellness, fitness, music, fashion, tech, etc. We love supporting other dreamers and innovators. We love supporting YOU!

(The First Installment of) Top Tunes Tuesday

We may not always have the exact same taste in music, but we do both agree that no fitness routine is complete without a killer playlist. Court has a specific playlist just for her posing practice so that she can get pumped up and sassy to practice her stage routine. She is also so intense about needing music during her workout that if she forgets her head phones, she has been known to turn right around and go home to get them. Rach has spent over nine months compiling a playlist of music that she uses during her yoga classes and spends hours on themed playlists for her different yoga events. We also always have music playing while we cook breakfast, get ready, do work together at the kitchen table, and drive around the city. Needless to say, we LOVE music.

Our relationship with music fuels our hard work in and out of the gym/studio and thus improves our relationships with ourselves and our bodies.
